La Marina urbanization is part of the village La Marina and the beaches of Guardamar Santa Pola and the city of Elche coastal location to Torrevieja covered by the municipality of San Fulgencio
San Fulgencio is located to the south of the province of Alicante, in the region of the Vega Baja del Segura, within the Valencian community.
Just 16 km south of the city of Elche and 36 km from Alicante is strongly positioned because it allows to reach the most outstanding populations of the Costa Blanca at a time. It has a mainly foreign population that choose this place to live for the good weather and the scenic charms, besides the coast. Thus, English is one of the predominant languages, being its inhabitants of British origin.
In addition to this tourism and the number of foreigners that inhabit it, the population has other charms, such as its buildings, monuments, its squares, the old town ... of all this, we can name the parochial Church, dating from the century XVIII; The Archaeological Museum, where you can see Iberian and Greek ceramics; The archaeological site of La Escuera, dating from the Iberian peninsula (late 5th to 2nd century BC) and the archaeological site of El Oral, with representations of the ancient Iberian epoch of the 6th century BC).
